Accolades Collection
This collection contains an ongoing inventory of all accolades in HQB's possession. Some accolades were given by HQB to various community members, some were given to HQB, and some accolades were given to individuals who kindly donated their awards to HQBCA.
Golden Agers Scrapbook No. 1
This collection includes one (1) scrapbook which previously belonged to a member of the Golden Agers Club at Hallie Q. Brown Community Center. This scrapbook contains mostly newspaper clippings, with some photographs, correspondence, and general biographical works.

HQB Administrative Records
This collection contains administrative records of enduring historical value which originates or relates to Hallie Q. Brown Community Center (formerly, Hallie Q. Brown Community House). This includes financial documents, non-financial reports, correspondence, speeches, and other organizaional ephemera. Also included are documents which are external to the orginization, but are connected to the community which HQB serves.
HQB Nursery Scrapbook
Light brown scrapbook titled HQB Nursery Scrapbook belonged to Ruth A. Brown (Reed), Director of the nursey at Hallie Q. Brown Community House. Materials in this scrapbook primarily relate to programming and events concerning children and their education. In addition to photographs, newspaper clippings and correspondence, this collection also contains Ruth A. Brown's collegiate records from the University of Minnesota.
HQB Photograph Collection
This collection includes photographs of the various staff, clubs, regular program activities and visitors associated with Hallie Q. Brown Community Center. While a large portion of photographs were taken at the Center, this collection also includes photographs of associates of Hallie Q. Brown Community Center located at places such as parks, at lakes, or on farms. This collection is in progress.
HQB Youth Programs Scrapbook
Scrapbook pages belonging to staff members at Hallie Q. Brown Community House from approx. 1954-1956. This collection contains only photographs, depicting children, teens and staff of HQB at various functions and locations.
Time-Based Media Records
This collection contains an assortment of audio/visual records from various artists and record labels. Some materials in this collection were made by home-video or music makers from the local, St. Paul area, while others were created by internationally recognized production companies. This collection is currently in progress. All of the motion-picture film reels are restricted from public access at this time.
